Ares was the original Olympian God of War-1 and the main antagonist of the God of War game and perpetrator behind the events of God of War: Ascension, he was also responsible for setting the events of the series into motion by trapping, manipulating Kratos into slaying his family and indirectly responsible for his metamorphosis into the Ghost of Sparta and setting him on the path which would eventually lead to the destruction of Olympus at his hands. He was the son of Zeus and Hera. Ares was the oldest child of Zeus and was commonly referred as the most hated god on Mount Olympus, even before being killed by Kratos.

Kratos is the main protagonist of the God of War series. Born in Sparta, Kratos was a respected soldier and General, and would ascend to Godhood before exacting revenge against the Olympians who betrayed him.Sacrificed his whole life to Ares in return of killing his enemies.Ares carved the Blades Of Chaos into his hands.Kratos tricked and made to kill his own family, was haunted by endless nightmares.Given the name of Ghost Of Sparta.No man can forget the terrible things he have done, not eve the Gods. To take revenge, He killed Ares and became God of War.

Zeus (Greek: Ζεύς) was the youngest child of the Titan King Cronos, who ascended to become the King of Olympus and the God of the Sky, Thunder, Lightning, and the Heavens. He acted as an ally in God of War and also served as the main antagonist of both God of War II and God of War III, and was the biological father of most of the gods of Olympus and many famous demigods such as Hercules, Perseus, Peirithous and even the Spartan warrior Kratos as well as his brother Deimos.

Athena was the Olympian Goddess of Wisdom and War, and the Deuteragonist of the God of War Series, who mostly appeared as an ally of Kratos.
She was seen as a neutral character in God of War II, and her place as Deuteragonist was taken by Orkos in God of War: Ascension and by Gaia in God of War II. In the middle stages of God of War III, after Gaia betrayed Kratos, Athena took her place back as the Deuteragonist and helped Kratos in ways that she could.

Gaia is the Primordial entity of the Earth, mother of the Titans and the grandmother and great-grandmother of the Olympian Gods. She is the narrator of the series, the deuteragonist of God of War II, and the secondary antagonist of God of War III.

Atreus is the son of Kratos and Laufey and the deuteragonist of God of War (2018). To the Jötnar, he is known as Loki. His mother being a Giant, and father being God , he is partly both.Though this mystery is revealed at the end of the God Of War 4 Series.

						-Pandora

Pandora (Πανδώρα, "All gifts"), was the self-made and adoptive daughter of Hephaestus, and the Tritagonist in God of War III.
Pandora was the first woman to ever exist. She, and therefore, the female gender, was created as punishment for Prometheus' theft of fire - Hephaestus molded her from the Earth, and each God bestowed seductive gifts on her. She and Epimetheus, were entrusted with Pandora's Box by the Gods, either for safekeeping or a desire to punish mankind. The Box was said to contain all the evils of the world, and despite instructions not to open it, Pandora's curiosity betrayed her. In an attempt to peek inside, all of the evil energies within were released and left behind only Hope, who decided to stay inside the box to remain with humanity. Thus, despite having innocent intentions, Pandora was blamed for all the woes of mankind.

Hephaestus is the Craftsman of Olympus, as well as the God of Fire and Volcanoes. He starts off as an ally in God of War III, but later betrays and tries to murder Kratos.

Deimos was the younger brother of Kratos. He was abducted by Ares during his childhood to avert a prophecy about the destruction of Mount Olympus. He was then tortured by Thanatos, God of Death for years in the Domain of Death. After he came of age in the Domain of Death, Deimos was fueled by hatred for the brother who had failed to save him from his torment. After Deimos was rescued by Kratos, and still held initial resentment toward him, he ultimately reconciled with his brother and joined forces with him to battle Thanatos only to be killed by the Death God. That was not unavenged, however, as Kratos killed Thanatos shortly after.

Baldur (also known as The Stranger) was the son of Odin and Freya, half-brother of Thor and Týr, and the uncle of Magni and Modi.
He served as the main antagonist in God of War (2018).

Freya, also known as The Witch of the Woods, is a Vanir goddess who helps Kratos and Atreus on their Journey. She was the wife of Odin, mother of Baldur and former Queen of the Valkyries.
